trev, no one else can play him until January even if Spurs terminate his contract tomorrow.

Re: Emmanuel Adebayor?
Dont celebrate just yet. I get the feeling we may still sign him if spurs pay out his contract and becomes a free agent. I could live with this if it was a one or maybe two year contract. Any more than that would turn my tolerance into anger.
Would be worth it every penny if he scored the winner at spurs though.

I can just imagine an almost Alan partridge like scene

Ade: one thing you need to know about me. I couldn't walk as a child and only started to when a ball went into the church. To sign for you I need a sign from God you see!

Bilic: ok I've heard enough, I'm leaving ok.

Ade knocks on Bilic car window: see you next week, I'll show you how I kicked the ball in church. I'm a walking miracle! Praise the Lord!

Bilic winds down window: No way you big spastic you're a mentalist!

To be fair apart from getting in a de lorean and signing a 26 year old Ian Bishop it's been a more than decent transfer window... think it was the right call to take Song on loan rather than buy him... Moses will fit in nicely.. and the lad from Forest looks exciting... but best of all we should have no VooDoo shit at UP for the rest of the season

Re: Emmanuel Adebayor?
Adebayor is fucking hilarious and should be odds on for Hammer of the year for what he's pulling at Spurs.

Credits due where credits due, this has been a great window for us. New blood, existing players tied to contracts & for the best bit is we haven't bought any of Tottenham's dead wood.

So many times we've got to that well in the past and it cemented the fact Spurs were bigger than us as we ended up with their shit.

Rebrov, Tarrico, Keane to name a few, so fuck Spurs. I'm pissed off De Gea stayed at United as Loris would've gone there an I'd love Kane to sign for Arsenal.

Lumping on "Poch" to be the 1st manager to get the boot this season.

Re: Emmanuel Adebayor?
Jelavic is far cheaper and less disruptive backup who I doubt will feel entitled to start with a fully fit squad (although obviously he'll want to). We have plenty of options now, even with a couple of injuries.

If they release him I thought you could sign any free agent at any time
